Faculty Mentoring

Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering students are now required to meet with their assigned Faculty Mentor prior to meeting with an Academic Advisor. Please see the Engineering Advising Center to determine your Faculty Mentor.

Why do I have to see a Faculty Mentor?

The Faculty Mentor program was created as a result of an ABET recommendation that CEG and MEG students receive additional career advising from members of the faculty. Faculty Mentors can help you decide on what major-related electives to take, identify internship and research opportunities in your area of interest, as well as assist with graduate school preparation and planning.
